A Song a Year in the Making

Special preview of my new song "Mueva La Cintura" with Aleyzza being released on May 1st

Aleyzza and I started talking about this song in February of 2023. We FaceTimed with Cardec, and Lay brought a phrase with her: “mueve la cintura” which is Spanish for “move your waist.” We instantly knew there was something here and the ideas started to take on a life of their own. A dance song was born.

A few weeks later, while I traveled for a solo trip to Puerto Rico (which turned out to be one of the worst and loneliest trips I’ve ever taken), Lay and I got together again and co-wrote the hook and a part of my verse.
